Waterscaping
Waterscape refers to the water body around a landscape. While the word ‘landscape’ is a very popular word, waterscape is not quite known. Waterscaping is comparable to a landscape; the only difference is the improvement in the water features. Waterscapes enhance the aesthetic appeal of a place, as well as the natural view. If an area is encompassed by water, it’s ideal to waterscape it to make the space more attractive and beautiful, it could even become the favorite spot or the best place to meditate and relax after stressful days. There are four major categories of landscaping which are fountainscapes, pondless waterfalls, ecosystem ponds, and advanced ponds. There are certain factors to consider before working on a waterscape project or choosing a design, these factors include; size and space, proportion and scale, and installation.
Fountainscapes Fountainscapes are small attractive water features like tabletop fountains, bubbling boulders or urns, in-ground reservoir etc. bubbling urns or boulders are large water features erected on an underground reservoir whereby, when the water in the boulder is filled up, the water spills into the underground bowl which in turn propels it back.
